Temporary Rules on Buying Insurance by International Students in China

     

According to Temporary Regulations on Higher Schools and Universities Requiring All International Students in China to Buy Insurance, all international students who study for more than six months (including those continuing studying for more than six months according to their original plans) shall buy Overall Group Insurance in mainland China as the necessary material for their registration for new semesters from 2008-2009 academic year. Individual certificate of insurance cannot be regarded as materials for registration and transacting of residence permit.

At present, our school suggests to buy medical insurance by Ping An Life Insurance Company, which can be transacted on registration day of every semester.
