For CATTI (Interpreting & Translation)

 

China Accreditation Test for Translators and Interpreters (CATTI) supported by Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of the People’s Republic of China and administrated and implemented by China Foreign Languages Publishing Administration, is National Vocational Qualification Examination enlisted into the Directory of China National Vocational Qualification Certification. The first CATTI Training Program for Foreigners will start in 2017. Currently the program includes seven languages training, namely, English, Japanese, French, Arabic, Russian, German, and Spanish. It divided into four grades, i.e. Senior Translation,   Grade One interpreter or translator, Grade Two interpreter or translator, and Grade Three interpreter or translator. This program is classified as two main categories, i.e. translation and interpretation, with interpretation in two specialties, consecutive interpreting and simultaneous interpreting. CATTI is aimed at promoting the career opportunity for foreigners in China.

CATTI (Interpreting & Translation) Training Program for Foreigners is designed to help foreigners, especially those have good command on English or Russian or native speakers, with more knowledge about and better performance in CATTI exam.

With certificates from CATTI, foreigners would be provided with better job opportunities in China after graduation. Foreigners with Grade Three or Grade Two certificates will possibly be recognized as Provincial Foreign Expert Qualification and would be entitled to giving lectures in language-training schools and other institutions. Foreigners with CATTI Grade One certificate or the Senior Translators will possibly be recognized as National Foreign Expert Qualification and be entitled to long-term work visa and residence permit in China. In addition, CATTI certificates holders are able to be qualified for teaching Chinese language or other translation-related jobs, and for employment in international organizations.

This program provides training for Grade Three, Grade Two, Grade One, teaching plans in accordance with Teaching and Training Center of China Foreign Languages Publishing Administration, and best English and Chinese teaching resources from UIBE, with an aim to help foreigners to obtain CATTI certificates.

Applicant:

Deadline of Application for First Session: February 17th, 2017
