New Trade Along the Silk Road”Promotion Event Held by UIBESIE

 On June 16th 2016, New Trade Along the Silk Roadpromotion event was held at Foreign Students Center of UIBESIE, which was attended by over 50 foreign students from over 20 countries along the Belt and Road.

This event is the first large scale practical activity during summer holiday participated by both Chinese and foreign students. By entering into this event, foreign students can bring quality products and services from their home country to China, assisting those with ambitions to start their own businesses and engage into business and trade exchanges in playing a concrete role in the Belt and Road Initiative.

Comprising China Imagefield research and Business Plan Competition, this event is open to all Chinese and foreign students and requires that all competing teams shall include at least one member from the Silk Road countries. The aim is to promote awareness of the Belt and Road Initiative and its developments among Chinese and foreign students, initiate investigation and survey of the project, and encourage broad participation.

During the event, detailed introduction of the event was presented to all foreign and Chinese students by Mr.Bi Fan of UIBESIE. Yang Xi, deputy party secretary of UIBE Youth League Committee, encouraged participants to Do more, and learn more, in hope that through this event, foreign and Chinese students will be brought together more closely in their efforts to improve skills and broaden international horizon.
