The unveiling ceremony for the First Phase of Korean Students’ Entrepreneurship in China was held on October 20, 2015, in the Study Center for International Students in the Qiu Zhen Building. Many distinguished guests from China and South Korea attended the ceremony, Zhao Zhongxiu, vice president of UIBE, and Liu Jinlan, Party committee secretary of SIE, Han Weichun, dean of SIE and Li Yong, director of SIE, along with professor Ding Dou from the Peking University, and guests from South Korea included Jin Xingqi, South Korea Counselor to China, Yin Daxiang, the representative, professor Wen Doujing, super-dent Yu Jiaohao, general manager Jin Duxue, Gao Yonghe and ad-visor Cui Xun.
In his speech, the vice president Zhao Zhongxiu noted that UIBE attaches great importance to “Korean Students Pioneering in China” project. Hence confronted with the fact of limited teaching resource and constrained fund, UIBE still doesn’t hesitate to establish a new laboratory for the pioneering project.
And the Employment and Entrepreneurship Center also shows their strong support for the project and the South Korean students involved in the project can share the resources offered by the Employment and Entrepreneurship Center.
At the ceremony, he expressed his congratulations to the 30 lucky South Korean and he wished that the Sino-Korea friendship would be passed down from generation to generation.
Jin Xingqi said that the pioneering project coincides with the entrepreneurial ideas put forward by President Park Geun-hye. Therefore, the Korea Future Creation and Science Ministry vigorously promotes the development of the first project of its kind directly-aided by the South Korean government in China. He analyzed the Korean students’ failure entrepreneurial cases in China and he encouraged the students to actively involve in pioneering work.
"The Aid Center for South Korean Overseas Students cannot help everyone to solve all the problems in pioneering, whereas we will spare no efforts to offer support. I sincerely hope that with hopes and confidence in mind, all of you will bravely overcome the challenges appearing in the course of pioneering work in China.”
Professor Wen Doujing especially came here to attend the ceremony from Seoul, South Korea.
And it’s Professor Wen who plays a vital part in seeking the help and support from the South Korea government, promoting the development of the pioneering project.
He put forward the following suggestions for the students. First, the students should love themselves, their friends, and parents, Korea, China as well as everything around. Second, one should never be afraid of failure in youth. Third, the students need to receive entrepreneurship training and actively make life planning.
After the speech, Liu Jinlan and Han Wei Chun conferred certificates for the business mentors.
Then, the moderator announced the lists of student groups, and at the scene the donation ceremony of the Korean Aibotelan Translation Software Company was held.
As the last part of the whole ceremony, Jin Xingqi and Zhao Zhongxiu inaugurated for the entrepreneurial project.
